• Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Resume Data: The personal and professional information you input into our resume builder, including work experience, education, skills, and contact details.
• Payment Information: Processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your card numbers or UPI IDs on our servers.
• Usage Data: Browser type, IP address, pages visited, and interaction patterns to improve our service.
• Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication and optional analytics cookies to understand usage patterns.

• To provide and maintain the ResumeBuildAI service
• To process your resume data for ATS analysis (powered by Google Gemini AI)
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send important service notifications and updates
• To track referrals and attribute affiliate credits
• To improve our service based on anonymized usage data

When you use our ATS analysis feature, your resume text is sent to Google's Gemini AI API for processing. This data is:

• Transmitted securely over HTTPS
• Not stored by Google beyond the processing request
• Used solely for generating your ATS analysis and suggestions
• Not used to train any AI models

Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with the following protections:

• All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
• Row Level Security (RLS) ensures users can only access their own data
• Regular security audits and vulnerability scanning
• Automatic backups with point-in-time recovery

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Database and authentication hosting
• Google Gemini: AI-powered resume analysis
• Razorpay: Secure payment processing
• SendGrid: Transactional email delivery
• Law enforcement: Only when legally required

You have the right to:

• Access all personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your resume data in standard formats
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

• Personal data is deleted within 30 days
• Anonymized analytics data may be retained
• Payment records are kept for 7 years (legal requirement)
